OUR STORY

Who are knee-high to grasshoppers, have sturdy characters, tell tall tales, are always getting into mischief and asking awkward questions? Children of course!La Compagnie des Petits tries to understand kids and creates fashions to suit their unique personalities.First of all, we take into consideration the dream-filled, colorful, fantasy world of our children. Each theme in the collection tells a story that is full of characters and heros. It also means that children are not little adults, nor pre-teens, but just children with their own identities and natures. A child is simply a child. We state this belief loud and clear in our brand statement: “On a tout le temps d’être grand - “We have all the time to be grown up”We also bear in mind that being well dressed doesn’t have to mean being “dressed up to the nines” and that there is nothing more uncomfortable than wearing clothes that itch or are too tight. Which is why comfort and practicality come first when we design of our garments, taking care to choose fabrics that are soft and gentle. Finally, it means knowing that children love little extras that make a big difference. At La Compagnie des Petits, our collections abound with details such as the use of embroidery, prints and beads. A total look is created to enable anyone from the youngest baby to the eldest child to coordinate and accessorise their outfits. These are the values that hallmark our collections each season, as we present exclusive and fashionable themes for each of the 3 age groups: babies, toddlers and kids. And so that shopping remains a pleasure for moms we keep our prices nice and low. That, in a nutshell, is the essence of La Compagnie des Petits.

HERE'S THE STORYFounded in 1991, our first store opened in Marseille in 1992. Since then, La Compagnie des Petits has not ceased to expand and today has over 200 stores located in a variety of countries as diverse as Algeria, Asia, Australia, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.After several "facelifts", La Compagnie des Petits launched its new architectural concept at the end of 2003.The years 2005-2006 were marked by accelerated international expansion and the set up of its new concept.La Compagnie des Petits currently rates amongst France’s leading children’s fashion retailers, paving the way with its original and creative design concepts and rapidly growing international network of stores.
